The Austin Game Developers Conference is a conference for developers by developers. Content is dedicated to online games, audio for games, and writing for games, all embracing the unique perspective native to the independent spirit of its host city. This year we have the Independent Games Festival to showcase innovation in game development and to recognize the best independent game developers and we have the Worlds in Motion Summit which will provide a realistic and in-focus snapshot of the intersection of games, business, and entertainment today, and where it's trending in for the future.

The Austin Game Developers Conference attracts over 2,700 attendees and provides educational, networking, and business opportunities for game development professionals driving the $11 billion video-game industry. It is the a global forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals and others involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas, network, and shape the future of the industry.

This community-oriented conference features lectures, panels, tutorials and round-table discussions on topics taught by leading industry experts. In addition, the Austin Game Developers Conference Expo showcases game development tools, platforms and services.
